From the Principal
"As Principal of Bellarine Secondary College since January 2002, I am extremely
fortunate to have the opportunity to lead a fantastic community of students, parents
and staff. The College has a rich history on the Bellarine Peninsula developing
it's roots from Queenscliff High School. The College is noted for its breadth of
learning programs, innovative curriculum, caring staff and modern facilities. College
enrolments continue to increase in proportion to population increases on the Bellarine
Peninsula.
My goal is to provide students with opportunities and encouragement to realise their
potential in academic studies, physical, cultural and social development providing
them with sound preparation for the transition from school to broader society. The
most fulfilling part of my role is the daily contact with students and I make this
a priority in my busy workload.
Meeting the needs of students in today's changing society is an exciting one and
I look forward to this challenge. I encourage you to consider the opportunities

Assistant Principals are part of the Principal class team and take responsibility
for policy formation, overall college decision-making and the management of a campus.
They ensure that policies and practices of student management and welfare are implemented
at the campus, they promote programs that will improve the knowledge and skills
of staff, monitor the delivery of teaching programs, facilitate an effective, safe
and harassment free environment for students and staff and ensure occupational health
and safety guidelines are followed.
