At Bellarine Secondary College we offer all Mathematics subjects from Year 7 to Year 12 including Specialist Mathematics and VCAL Numeracy. Students are encouraged to work to achieve their potential and to use their Mathematical skills in a variety of ways.

Projects and problem solving activities are used in addition to skills and standard applications to ensure that students are able to work at a variety of levels in years 7 to 9.

Students are encouraged to participate in the Australian Mathematics Competition, we send teams to the Deakin University Mathematics Competition each year, and run internal Mathematics teams competitions for years 8 and 9.

From year 10, students are able to choose mathematics according to their own needs. Below is a flow chart indicating student options from year 10 (apart from VCAL).
